In order to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides, HLD retrofitted the existing natural gas boilers with low nitrogen.​Through various tests and type inspections of the boiler, it is shownthat the emission reduction of nitrogen oxide pollutants in the tail gashas reached more than 80%, and its reduced standard emissionconcentration is stably controlled below 30 mg / m³.

In order to reduce waste gas emissions, HLD uses RTO high-efficiency regenerative incinerator to carry out incineration and oxidation treatment of waste gas and oxygen up to 870 ℃. The heat of high-temperature gas during oxidation is "stored" by the regenerator for preheating the newly entered waste gas, which not only reduces the fuel consumption required for temperature rise, but also makes the pollutant removal rate reach more than 99%​

After treatment, the waste water produced by production and living enters the reuse pool, which can be used to supplement the circulating water of the cooling tower. The reuse rate of reclaimed water reaches more than 80%, and the annual fresh water saving reaches 150000 to 200000 tons.

The company attaches importance to the prevention and emergency disposal of production safety accidents, and has special emergency plans, on-site disposal plans, emergency disposal cards, etc. for greater safety risks. The company believes that the continuous safety of production can be guaranteed only if employees are proficient in standard operating procedures, post safety risks and prevention and control measures. Safety input is the basic condition that directly affects the safety production of enterprises. The company has never spared no expense in safety investment: in 2018, it invested 1.25 million yuan to transform the fire pipeline in the chemical fiber plant; In 2020, the liquid ammonia nitrogen plant will be changed to pipeline nitrogen, with an annual increase of more than 1.4 million yuan in cost; Now it is planning to add safety instrument system (SIS) to polyester plant, and the investment is expected to exceed one million yuan.
